How
it works: Glycolic
acid stimulates collagen
and elastin in the dermis.
Glycolic acid prevents dead
cells from clumping together,
which eventually harden
and can form a plug preventing
sebum, skin’s natural
oil, from reaching the surface
of the skin. Cleaning the
follicle allows the follicle
walls to lie together, making
the pore appear smaller
and more refined. It is
medically impossible to
physically reduce pore size
- but glycolic acid cleans
the pore allowing the pore
walls to “collapse”
appearing to be smaller
from the surface. |
